WELCOME!
Huddersfield Road Bowling Club was formed in 1901 though the landowner who owned the site had a private green there for some time. The club is rightly proud of its history as it is believed to be one of the oldest in the country. Our well maintained green, clubhouse and surrounding borders planted with shrubbery and flowers offer a beautiful, peaceful setting in which to enjoy a game of bowls
Bowling takes place everyday at 1pm and weekdays 5:30pm throughout the bowling season which runs from the end of March to the end of September.
A full list of social events ranging from dominoes and canasta to Christmas lunch and carols is posted in the clubhouse
